No news...is good news?

Nothing too exciting to report. I had to take a two week break due to a job training out of town so Gomer just got tossed meals in his mews for that time. I was expecting him to be pretty crazy when I got back but we were out hunting again within a week.

Yesterday he smacked a pigeon on the first slip of the day but wasn't able to hang on until I got there. His talons may be a bit dull from bouncing around in the mews. I'll have to see what I can do to fix that. He tail chased another one a good 50 yards and pulled feathers on a third for the last slip of the day but we came home empty handed. With the longer days hopefully we'll be able to get out more often but until then I don't really have anything cool to post except this video. Watch out at the 2:06 and 11:25 marks...
